New England Aquarium
Most people don't know that the coral formations you see in museums are totally artificial, typically made with aquarium-safe resins.
When the New England Aquarium took on the massive project of renovating their giant ocean tank, an entirely new set of displays needed to be built.
We produced complex rubber molds and helped them cast the thousands of resin coral parts required to fill out the exhibit designer's vision for the giant ocean tank. Over 3,000 parts later, humans and fish alike can enjoy a whole new perspective on ocean life at the aquarium.
